The Young Time Traveler Part 1

George a young and kind boy lives in Amsterdam with his parents and his elder brother.

One beautiful sunny day, when most of the kids are enjoying outside, George is at home looking for something to do. George decides to go outside and walk around his neighborhood. Being a responsible boy, he informs his parents where he is going and the tentative time he would be back.  

He picks up a bottle of water, some food, a rope, a flashlight and a first aid kit and ventures out.

George wanders around exploring to do something fun. He goes behind his neighbor’s house and finds a mysterious shed. There were lots of noises coming from there making George excited and nervous

He went inside and saw a middle-aged man making a car sort of thing. George was very confused and wanted to get out without the man knowing. George was so surprised he was not looking where he was going and he banged into the door which made the man alert.

The man was surprised to see George and they exchanged glances. The man asked politely “What are you doing here?”  George nervously said “I was looking for an adventure and heard noises from here so came to see what was happening.”

The man passed a polite smile and said that he was making a time machine. George was ‘Awe Struck’. The man asked him if he wanted to be the time traveler with him. George immediately said yes!

The man said come back to this shed tomorrow around this time and we will go. George was only worried about one thing: Won’t his parents figure out that he has gone out for too long?

The man said that the time we leave will be the same time we come back. When George heard this he was really excited. That night George was barely able to sleep.

The next day George grabbed a few supplies and went out. He met the middle-aged man again, they both talked about each other for some time. After few minutes they were ready to go.

The man’s name was Fred and George found him very polite and generous. Fred had got the car ready and they were about to leave. They decided to go into the Jurassic era to see dinosaurs!

3, 2, 1…. And they zoomed out of the shed and went into the air. In a second they were there. When they reached, they both were ‘Awe Struck’. They both got out of the car and started to explore. Suddenly a loud thud was heard. It came closer and closer and they saw a Brachiosaurus! The both were so scared and happy to see that dinosaur!

They wandered around and saw may different dinosaurs. After some time they had a snack and thought it was enough for today. They got into the car and instead of going back to their era, they accidentally went into Cretaceous.

Instead of panicking they were actually excited as they would be able to see T-rexes’. When they reached they got out and started to explore. George was really scared on the inside but did not show thinking that Fred will think he is a baby.

They went far away from the car they saw many T-rexes from far and they thought it was awesome. When they reached back to the car, they had one problem; the car had been smashed by a t-rex!!!

They both were panicking and did not know what to do!!!!
