The Young Time Traveler Part 2

Hope you have read part 1 first!!

When they reached back to the car, they had one problem; the car had been smashed by a T-rex!!!They both were panicking and did not know what to do!!!!

Fred, tried to look calm, so George would not panic, but Fred on the inside was very worried.

Luckily he had brought spare parts and tools, which may possibly help him, fix the time machine. He started to fix it, but soon he realized that they were missing a piece, it was not too important but was used for protection. Fred said, “George can you find or build something of this shape, it does not matter what it is made of” George agreed and went to a nearby bush and started looking for something to substitute the piece.

They found the materials needed to create the protection; they started to fix the time machine whilst they also kept looking out for any DINOSAURS approaching them!

After several hours, it was not fully complete but it was good enough to take them home. They hoped it would work and got into the car. As they zoomed out, suddenly a T-rex came stomping by!

If Fred and George were not scared before, they definitely were NOW!! Fred thought fast and took the car to safety so it would not be smashed AGAIN!

They stood very still, astonished and frightened, to make sure the majestic creature did not notice them. Suddenly the dinosaur started to groan, and they saw many dinosaurs coming closer. The duo was worried as they could tell the dinosaurs had sensed that someone/something was here.

Luckily, Fred had an idea, he thought, if one of them could distract the dinosaurs, the other one would start the car and quickly zoom off. George thought that was a brilliant idea, but the problem was that Fred did not want George to distract the dinosaurs, but he would also not be able to start the car.

After George convinced him, Fred agreed to allow him to distract the T-rex s. George took a spare tool, the size of a rug, and threw it off and suddenly hid in the bushes, the dinosaurs saw the object fly past but did not go for it, instead came towards the bushes, in which George was!

Luckily Fred roared the engine of the Time Machine Car and the dinosaurs got scared and ran off. George quickly jumped into the car and zoomed off back to their time period.

 Within the blink of an eye, they were back home. To George’s astonishment, it was the same time he had reached the shed! Though they were gone for three hours, time had seemed to have stopped back at home!!

George thanked Fred for saving him and letting him come on his adventure. That night, George could not sleep; he was still thrilled about his adventure earlier that day.

 Fred and George had many more adventures after this!

Pros and Cons of Online School
